Islas Filipinas

IES Islas Filipinas is a public school in the Community of Madrid, located in the Chamberí district. It offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), as well as vocational training (FP) at Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, including a virtual modality for Intermediate level. It also accepts applications for second-year placements for those wishing to continue a cycle started elsewhere or complete a second year with a common first year.

Its vocational training offerings are structured around five professional families: Administration and Management, Graphic Arts, Commerce and Marketing, Construction and Civil Works, and Computing and Communications. The institute is a successor to the National School of Graphic Arts, and this history motivated its participation in the creation of a Vocational Training Museum, which can be visited both in person and virtually, showcasing the history and evolution of these professional families.

The center has a welfare and protection coordination, participates in the Erasmus+ program, and its teachings are co-financed by the European Social Fund and actions funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU. The Professional English module does not start from scratch, so prior knowledge of the language is recommended. The center holds open house days and allows appointments to learn about its cycles and professional families. It does not have parking.
