Garabatos Y Ocho Patos

Garabatos y Ocho Patos is a private early childhood school accredited by the Community of Madrid, located in the Arganzuela district of Madrid. With over twenty years of experience, it has two centers open year-round. It caters to children from four months to three years old, operating Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with extended hours available. It offers a balanced and adapted meal service, as well as extracurricular activities.

The educational project is based on active methodologies such as Montessori and Glenn Doman, focused on natural learning through play, exploration, and curiosity. Special importance is given to reading from an early age, using the Bits of Intelligence from the Glenn Doman method. English is integrated into daily activities as a second language, promoting its natural acquisition through play, music, and everyday activities. Classrooms are organized by age, but interaction between children from different groups is encouraged to develop social and emotional skills. The classrooms are spacious and bright, with natural lighting.

The Calle Melilla center is an active methodologies center that has four classrooms with natural lighting, a playground, and a landscaped outdoor area. The Calle Laurel center is a Montessori center located in the pedestrian area of Pasillo Verde, with three classrooms, a playground, and a landscaped outdoor area. In both centers, students play in the playground under the supervision of their educators, and parents can leave strollers if they wish. Family participation is essential: close collaboration with parents is maintained, and joint activities are carried out. The educational team meets monthly to analyze and improve the educational process, acting as a guide for children to gain autonomy and confidence.
