Santa Rita De Casia

Santa Rita School is a semi-private Catholic institution located in Madrid. It offers early childhood education, primary education, and compulsory secondary education (ESO), and its offerings also extend to Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). The early childhood stage, starting from the early years, aims to contribute to the physical, sensory, intellectual, emotional, and social development of children, accompanying them in that process. Primary education comprises six compulsory and free courses, and in secondary education, study habits and teamwork are reinforced, with a foundation in humanities, arts, sciences, and technology aimed at turning students into responsible citizens.

The school's educational project incorporates methodologies such as Service Learning, which connects students and teachers with socially relevant projects, and cooperative work, understood as a mutual aid association where some learn from others. It also has a Dual Bachillerato program that allows students to obtain two qualifications simultaneously. The training in values is centered around dedication and effort, teamwork, and a spirit of solidarity.

Among its services, the center has a cafeteria with its own kitchen, offering menus designed to promote a balanced and varied diet. It provides extracurricular activities such as volleyball, soccer, and painting, an English school in Primary and ESO with preparation for Cambridge University exams, and support classes to keep up with the course workload. The school also has a school radio and a virtual tour to explore its facilities. Its history dates back to 1875 when Francisco Lastres met with a group of politicians and journalists to seek a solution to the situation of young offenders, and it has over 135 years of history.
