Santa Rita

Santa Rita School is a semi-private and Catholic center located in the Carabanchel district of Madrid. It offers early childhood education, primary education, and compulsory secondary education. In the early childhood stage, its purpose is to contribute to the physical, sensory, intellectual, emotional, and social development of children, accompanying and guiding them along the way. Primary education is compulsory and free and includes six academic years, typically attended between the ages of six and twelve. Compulsory secondary education is based on humanistic, artistic, scientific, and technological concepts, and it reinforces study habits and teamwork, fostering critical and entrepreneurial spirit so that students develop as responsible citizens.

The center has more than 135 years of history. Among its educational projects, the Learning and Service stands out, a methodology that connects students and teachers with socially relevant projects; cooperative work, understood as an association among people seeking mutual help to learn from each other; and the Dual Bachillerato, a program that allows students to obtain two simultaneous high school diplomas. The school also offers a virtual tour to explore its facilities.

Regarding services, it has a cafeteria with its own kitchen and an extracurricular activities program that includes volleyball, soccer, painting, an English school, and tutoring classes. The English school prepares, in primary education, for the University of Cambridge exams (Starters, Movers, Flyers, KET, PET, and FIRST) and, in ESO, for the PET and FIRST Certificate.
