Escola Bressol Municipal Gargot

Escola Bressol Municipal Gargot is a public center for early childhood education integrated into the network of Municipal Nursery Schools of Lleida, which depend on the Education Department of La Paeria. It is located in the Universitat neighborhood in Lleida and has been part of a municipal network educating since 1976.

The center caters to the early childhood education stage, with the first cycle (0-3 years) and second cycle (3-6 years). It has 44 places, distributed into 12 for one-year-old children and 32 for two-year-olds. Among its services are the cafeteria, morning and afternoon care service — which requires a minimum number of enrolled children — school transport, early riser service, extended hours, and extracurricular activities.

It is supported by a Psychopedagogical Advisory Team (EAP-EBM). Its educational project addresses adaptation to the center, day-to-day life at school, teamwork, and family participation, and includes a welcome plan. It develops projects such as Erasmus+, water play, Agenda 21, the English project, the massage project, and various initiatives for coeducation, coexistence, and intersectionality. It also carries out actions such as Posa't la gorra!, Un aliment, un somriure, the collection of used clothing, Cap nen/a sense joguina, the Alícia Project, the Implica't Project, and the Pinotxo Project.
