Institut Bisbe Berenguer

Institut Bisbe Berenguer is a public secondary school in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat that offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato. It has a welcoming classroom for newly arrived students, which organizes outings to familiarize them with the surroundings and the city, and has a conversation assistant who reinforces oral competence in English. Students can certify their B1 and B2 levels of English through the exams of the Official School of Languages.

Throughout the school year, a reading plan is developed involving different departments, and activities such as the sports and recreational competition at the end of the year, known as Olimpabisbes, are organized. The center participates in the Scientific and Technological Days of Bachillerato in L'Hospitalet and in the Young Poetry Day. Outings to museums and spaces such as CosmoCaixa and the Planetarium, Park Güell, or the beach for sports activities are also carried out.

Students from the optional Audiovisual Communication course in 3rd year of ESO produce a news program in collaboration with Televisión de L'Hospitalet. The center has a digital learning environment with Moodle. Additionally, it participates in the program 'Èxit és un hàbit', a collaborative project for cleaning and maintaining the areas of the center that involves all grades, and in solidarity campaigns such as that of Cáritas.
