Escola Charlie Rivel

Escola Charlie Rivel is a public school in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat that offers Early Childhood Education and Primary Education, the latter structured into initial, middle, and upper cycles. Teaching is provided in Spanish and Catalan. The school has a cafeteria service, school transport, and extracurricular activities, as well as a parent association (AFA). Among the school's own spaces and resources are a school magazine, Charlieca, a radio station, and a gallery of images.

Throughout the year, students participate in various projects and outings. In fifth grade, they work on flat geometric shapes, figures, angles, and patterns through programming with Scratch and 3D printing, and that same class produces short films in collaboration with Teleduca that are later screened at Cinemes Girona. Sixth-grade students prepare plays that they perform at the Barradas theater alongside other schools. The school organizes mathematical scavenger hunts dedicated to measurements, with stations on length, weight, capacity, and area, as well as numerical research activities with games, dice, magic squares, and calculators. There are also outings to Tibidabo and the beach, as well as a natural drawing activity of the Torre Barrina in Parc de la Marquesa, as part of a classroom project about the neighborhood. Fourth-grade students participate in a sailing baptism within the sports program of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
