Escola Taialà

Escola Taialà is a public center in Girona that offers Early Childhood Education (second cycle), Primary Education, and Compulsory Secondary Education. Among its facilities, it has a library, gym, and playgrounds — including a playground for Early Childhood and one for Primary — as well as a hall and an Early Childhood classroom. It provides a cafeteria service and extracurricular activities managed by the AFA, and its activities are conducted in Spanish and Catalan.

Throughout the school year, the center implements various learning proposals: English workshops in Early Childhood, a learning situation around the garden and aromatic plants, and the Booktubers project in Primary, where students recommend books through videos. It also organizes outings and camps in different courses, with stays in Estartit, Banyoles, and Cala Canyelles, and participates in initiatives such as the fourth-grade Primary cantata.

Additionally, it has created the Espai Imagina, a space dedicated to creativity and artistic expression established from a disused classroom. Furthermore, it publishes the Revista Xispa, a collaborative effort between teachers of the school and families, funded by the AFA.
