Veracruz

Veracruz is a private school located in Galapagar, part of the Madre Velarde Schools, a network of eleven centers that share the same educational philosophy and style. It is owned by the Daughters of Santa María del Corazón de Jesús, a religious institute of pontifical right whose spirituality focuses on the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with a worship of adoration, love, and reparation, especially in the Eucharist, in union with Mary. The mission of the institute is to promote love for the Sacred Heart of Jesus through stable apostolic works.

The school offers early childhood education (including nursery), primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). It provides instruction in Spanish, English, and French. Among its services are a cafeteria, school transport, extracurricular activities, and a psychopedagogical office. It has facilities such as a library, sports hall, football field, athletics track, laboratory, computer room, auditorium, school garden, chapel, gym, and playground.

The educational project of the Madre Velarde Schools promotes integral, harmonious, and coherent training, with moral norms defined by the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. Its purpose is the Christian formation of students, fostering in each one their commitment to live in truth and freedom. Education in values is articulated through a monthly motto, conceived by the founder, and is complemented by coexistence norms that seek a good educational environment and respect for all.
