Escola de L'Estany - ZER El Moianès Llevant

Escola de L'Estany is part of the ZER El Moianès Llevant, a grouping of rural schools along with the centers of Collsuspina and Sant Quirze Safaja. It is a public center that provides Early Childhood Education, both in its first cycle (0-3) and in the second (3-6), as well as Primary Education (6-12), with Catalan as the vehicular language.

The center develops the area of Environment based on the closest surroundings to the students, taking advantage of the resources offered by the playground to observe, explore, and analyze elements of the environment. It also carries out activities linked to the village, such as the project for knowledge of the municipality, and participates in the L'Estany bibliobus season, with biweekly sessions dedicated to readings, sung stories, information searching, and interlibrary loans. Music is present in school life through proposals that traverse the world.

The ZER organizes start-of-year days at Mas Blanc to bring together the schools that comprise it, and throughout the year, meetings with families are scheduled, such as the carmanyola soups. The center has a renewed teaching team and maintains a shared project among the schools of the grouping.
