C.P. San Juan Bautista

C.P. San Juan Bautista offers Primary Education and Secondary Education. It has students in 2nd year of ESO.

The center collects organic matter generated, especially during recess, and deposits it in the composter. The compost obtained is used in the areas dedicated to the school garden. In addition, it has containers for paper, packaging, and organic waste, and a composter, and promotes healthy breakfasts with tupperware or cloth sandwich bags.

The Solidarity Race is organized by the 2nd year ESO students for the benefit of Cáritas Zaidín and is now in its sixth edition. It is held around the Day of Peace and Non-Violence, on February 4th, and participants contribute hygiene or food products intended for Cáritas.

The educational community of Zaidín prepares an annual solidarity calendar whose funds are allocated to charitable causes. In the 2020 edition, the funds were directed to the Fundación Amigos de Nono against Menkes Disease.

Students from the center participated in the Aragón Televisión announcement 'The most beautiful word in Aragón', promoted by the General Directorate of Linguistic Policy. The center also organizes inter-level workshops on cultures, dances, and languages, and works on making the languages present in the classroom visible.

The center celebrates this festivity with the distribution of chestnuts and persimmons by the fourth-grade primary students, before dancing together to a song dedicated to the chestnut seller. Fantastic movie sessions adapted to each age group and inter-level crafts are also carried out to decorate the school.
