C.R.A. La Sabina

C.R.A. La Sabina is a public school in Villafranca de Ebro that groups several localities, including Nuez de Ebro, Osera de Ebro, and Monegrillo. It offers Early Childhood Education (second cycle) and Primary Education.

Throughout the school year, it develops projects in different localities. In Nuez de Ebro, the school garden is carried out, where Early Childhood students participate in planting potatoes. In Villafranca de Ebro, first and second-grade students create seedbeds for the garden. The school also organizes art projects: in Osera de Ebro, Early Childhood and Primary students learn about artistic movements such as Pop Art, Cubism, and abstract art; in the Early Childhood classroom in Villafranca, plastic expression is worked through artists like Jackson Pollock. Additionally, outings are made to the environment to learn about the sabina, with the planting of specimens and seed collection for seedbeds, in an activity in collaboration with the Monegrillo Town Hall. In Monegrillo, complementary activities are developed such as La Castañera, Halloween, the school garden, and golf with recycled materials. Carnival is celebrated in the different localities, with proposals such as the trial of Carnesprietas in Villafranca de Ebro. The school has an Early Childhood Education classroom and manages the admission and enrollment process of students.
