La Immaculada

La Immaculada is a privately owned center located in Vilassar de Dalt that offers Early Childhood Education, from I3 to I5, and Primary Education, from first to sixth grade. Among its services, it has a cafeteria and after-school care, and it has a school council. The center works with Spanish and Catalan as languages.

The educational project of the center is structured around three axes: doing, thinking, and communicating. The organization of learning is supported by projects and proposals for shared learning. A highlighted area is artistic work in the school, which includes initiatives such as artist of the week, the artist's suitcase, weekly auditions, and music, body, and movement, as well as proposals to explain and learn through art. Spaces for reflection and philosophy are also incorporated, based on observation and dialogue about works of art. Students participate in activities such as cultivating and harvesting products in the garden, school sports days — including ultimate frisbee with students from other schools in the municipality — and visits to learn about local history, such as the textile machinery collection of Can Manyer. Additionally, families and experts are invited to the classroom to answer questions that arise during learning.

The center publishes its own magazine, l'Altaveu, and has a parents' association (AFA). It has documents such as the linguistic project, the coexistence project, the own character, the organizational rules, the commitment letter, the digital strategy, and the ESI project.
