CPR Plurilingüe Compañía de María

The CPR Compañía de María is a semi-private school in Vigo. It belongs to the Compañía de María, a congregation founded by Saint Juana de Lestonnac in Bordeaux in 1607, whose educational tradition is rooted in Christian humanism and extends over several centuries. The school has been present in the city since 1886, with more than 130 years of history in Vigo.

The center offers early childhood education, primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), with a Spanish curriculum and instruction in Spanish and Galician. Its educational proposal is defined from a Christian perspective of the person and life. Among the elements that characterize it are Christian humanist education, reflection on practice and the ongoing training of teachers, education for solidarity and social responsibility, and an educational action that goes beyond the classroom and seeks spaces that promote integral education and the experience of interculturality.

Regarding services, the school has a morning care room, cafeteria, library, guidance, and administration, as well as a uniform. Extracurricular activities are organized in three areas: sports, cultural, and artistic. The center has access to the Educamos platform and offers the possibility of scheduling a personalized visit to learn about the school.
