CIFP Audiovisual de Vigo

CIFP Audiovisual de Vigo is a public vocational training center located in Vigo, in the heart of the Galicia-North of Portugal Euroregion. It offers courses in the Image and Sound family, including the Higher Degree in Sound for Audiovisuals and Shows, which is available in a distance learning format. The center uses both Spanish and Galician.

The center has a Business Incubator whose facilities currently host various projects. These include the production, direction, and editing of promotional videos for companies and event organizers aimed at social media, websites, and advertising, as well as original audiovisual works for commercial distribution; audiovisual advertising projects for brands, events, and companies, spots for social media and television, film production for film festivals in Galicia, and music video production; and a theater and puppet project aimed at creating, disseminating, and promoting shows and audiovisuals, directed at both children and young adults.

The center is committed to internationalization. Since 2007, it has sent students to undertake training stays in companies in European countries, and since 2014, it has had the Erasmus Charter, which has boosted its participation in international mobility programs for both students and teachers under the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.

Additionally, the center participates in the accreditation process for professional competencies, which allows for the evaluation and accreditation of units of competence acquired through work experience or non-formal training. In the Image and Sound family, there are 70 units of competence linked to 22 professional qualifications.
