CEIP ELVIRA VAQUERO

The center provides Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. Early Childhood Education includes the first cycle, with classrooms for 2-year-olds, and the second cycle. Primary Education covers from 1st to 6th grade.

The center currently has 14 units. Of these, 2 are for Early Childhood Education first cycle (classrooms for 2-year-olds) and 5 for the second cycle (1 for 3 years, 1 for 3/4 years, 1 for 4 years, and 2 for 5 years). The remaining 7 are for Primary Education (1 for 1st, 1 for 2nd, 1 for 3rd, 1 for 4th, 1 for 5th, and 2 for 6th).

English is taught in Early Childhood Education and in Primary Education. French is offered as a second language in 5th and 6th grade of Primary Education.

The center participates in the Erasmus+ project and develops projects in Art, cultural action and cooperation; Linguistic communication, libraries and school radios; Environmental education and sustainability; Health promotion; A different perspective online; School garden; Schoolovision; and STEAM.

The center has a school garden and spaces for student activities. It also offers a cafeteria service and school transport, and provides English and French teaching.
