Sagrado Corazón

Sagrado Corazón, Anunciata, is a private center in Valladolid, in the Covaresa-La Rubia district. It belongs to the Francisco Coll Educational Foundation and is defined as a Catholic school that follows the spirit of its founder, San Francisco Coll. It offers Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Secondary Education (ESO) and has an American curriculum. In Early Childhood, for children aged 3 to 6, learning is supported by play and experimentation, with literacy based on neuroscience, manipulative mathematics, and cooperative and project-based work. The bilingual section in English starts in 1st grade of Early Childhood and continues until 4th grade of ESO. In Secondary Education, it presents itself as a trilingual center in English and French.

The educational model combines active methodologies, teamwork, and problem-solving, robotics, project-based learning, and a 1x1 program with personal computers. In Secondary Education, exchanges with other centers, retreats, and stays are organized. The center articulates its proposal around a Pastoral Project, which accompanies personal and spiritual growth with Christian values, and a Pedagogical Project aimed at making students the protagonists of their learning. The Pastoral Team promotes the Christian experience and the life project, with Dominican values.

Among its services, it offers mandatory uniforms from 1st grade of Early Childhood to 4th grade of ESO, an early morning care room starting at 07:30, extracurricular activities in sports, arts, and training, a school cafeteria with its own kitchen and adapted menus, and a library for study and teamwork, with access to resources, wifi, and teaching support for Secondary Education. Its facilities include equipped classrooms, playground areas, laboratories, sports areas, a chapel, an auditorium, and a school radio.
