El Puente Azul

El Puente Azul is a private educational center located in Valladolid, in the Covaresa-La Rubia district. It follows the Waldorf pedagogy, a system with over a hundred years of experience, present in more than sixty countries and recognized within the framework of UNESCO Associated Schools. This educational approach prioritizes the development of children's artistic and imaginative abilities, stimulating their creativity and their capacity to find their own solutions. The center is defined by the motto "children creators in their essence" and is guided by the principle of "educating the child with love and delivering them in freedom," formulated by Rudolf Steiner.

The center offers stages of early childhood education (second cycle, ages 3 to 6), primary education (ages 6 to 12), and Bachillerato (ages 16 to 18). Additionally, it organizes various activities for families, such as workshops inspired by the seasons of the year, family dance and singing gatherings, outdoor solidarity lunches, and decoration and craft activities. Pedagogical breakfasts, puppet shows, and eurhythmics workshops, an art of movement created by Rudolf Steiner that turns music and poetry into visible gestures, are also held. Furthermore, a Waldorf Humanist Training is offered in Valladolid, aimed at professionals and anyone interested in personal development, along with a movement rhyme workshop presented by Tamara Chubarovsky.

The center is driven by the Friends of Waldorf Pedagogy Association. Waldorf pedagogy has over 2000 educational centers worldwide, ranging from early childhood education to vocational training, and also includes Curative Pedagogy for children with special educational needs.
