Jesús Y María

Colegio Jesús y María is a private school in Valladolid, in the Centro district, integrated into the Vedruna Education Foundation. It offers the Bachillerato stage, aimed at students aged 16 to 18, with Spanish as the vehicular language and the teaching of English and French. It has a cafeteria service and early morning care, and its school hours extend from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 to 14:30.

The educational proposal of the center is oriented towards comprehensive education based on values formation, with individual and close attention to students. It proposes personalized learning that addresses the needs, skills, and competency levels of each student, within an inclusive approach that leverages diversity as a learning opportunity. Active methodologies place the student as the protagonist of a constructive process. The digitization project incorporates the use of Chromebook devices and work with G-Suite for Education, and the center has the recognition of Google Reference School. The tutorial action is concretized in two weekly hours of tutoring, both group and personalized, with direct communication between tutor and family for academic and personal follow-up.

The school develops a program of exchanges and linguistic immersions, and students participate in European projects such as Erasmus+ and eTwinning. Among its proposals are the American Dual Bachillerato and the Stem Talent Girl program. Through the Vedruna Groups and volunteer groups, students engage in awareness-raising actions and support for peers with academic difficulties, and the center works on mediation and coexistence with the direct participation of students. The offer is completed with extracurricular services, a virtual visit to the facilities, and a store for purchasing uniforms.
