CEIP Ciudad de Bolonia is a public Early Childhood and Primary Education center located in the city of València, in the L'Olivereta district. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education for ages 3 to 6 years, and the Primary stage for ages 6 to 12 years, with Spanish and Valencian as the working languages. The center has a school library, a cafeteria service, and extracurricular activities, and its website provides information in Valencian and Spanish.
The library occupies a central place in the life of the school. The center participates in the Biblioinnova't project, an educational innovation initiative aimed at reinforcing the role of the library as a learning space, with reading promotion activities for all students and the incorporation of new titles into the bibliopatio and classroom libraries. This bibliopatio is already in operation, and students can use it during recess. Among the reading-related activities, the center has hosted the visit of children's story writer Rafa Soler, who shared one of his stories with first and second-grade students.
Throughout the school year, various celebrations and complementary activities are organized. On Book Day, the day included a magic recital by Magician Juanan, a workshop on fantastic animals where each student created their own creature, a literary escape room themed around Sherlock Holmes and Professor Moriarty, and a book market organized with the collaboration of the AMPA. The center also celebrates Las Fallas, with an exhibition of ninots made by the students themselves, chocolate with valencianas provided by the AMPA, and a flower offering to the senyera. In Early Childhood, a succulent planting activity was carried out in a section of the playground, where the children prepared the soil, placed the plants, and watered them, adding a new green corner to the school's garden.
