Ies Campanar

IES Campanar is a public secondary school located in the Campanar district of València. It offers the Spanish curriculum for students aged 12 to 16.

The center is defined as non-confessional, democratic, and open to the participation of all sectors of the educational community. Its educational model seeks to provide comprehensive training for students, with a favorable climate for coexistence and continuous education. It also fosters education in democratic values, respect for fundamental rights and freedoms, gender equality, and the fight against gender-based violence, as well as an organizational model that facilitates democratic participation. Furthermore, it seeks a comprehensive education that encompasses humanistic and scientific aspects, aimed at personal maturation and self-determination, and active integration into cultural, social, and labor life. To this end, it enhances active teaching that develops students' abilities, initiative, and creativity, fostering habits of reading, observation, and research, study habits, critical thinking, and the use of new technologies. It also aims to help students develop their self-esteem and self-awareness.
