About the school

CEIP Salvador Tuset is a public school in València, located in the Benicalap district. It offers the Spanish curriculum and includes Early Childhood Education (second cycle, ages 3 to 6) and Primary Education (ages 6 to 12). The school organizes open house events for families.

Since September, the school has had a sensory classroom, a space designed for students to learn and develop through sensory stimulation (sight, hearing, touch, smell, and movement), featuring lights, sounds, textures, colors, and manipulable materials, and also aimed at children with special educational needs. The Early Childhood team has attended a training session on AEPS-3, focused on assessment and designing intervention plans tailored to students' needs. Among the activities for the year are a storytelling session for Early Childhood students and a trip for the entire school to the cinema in Valencia.

The school is developing the educational research and innovation project EDUC-ARTE, which aims to create four new spaces: a creative or art classroom, a sensory classroom, a nature classroom, and a ceramics workshop. This PIIE has received funding from the competent education department of the Generalitat.
