Ceip Explorador Andrés

CEIP Explorador Andrés is a public school in València, located in the Algirós district. It offers Early Childhood Education (second cycle, from 3 to 6 years) and Primary Education (from 6 to 12 years) within the Spanish curriculum, with Valencian present in its project. The center has nearby public transport, with metro and bus stops in the vicinity.

Its educational project is structured around a series of plans and measures: a transition plan between Early Childhood and Primary Education and another between Primary and Secondary Education, aimed at facilitating students' adaptation to the change of stage; a plan for equality and coexistence aimed at promoting democratic, coeducational, and inclusive values, respect for sexual, gender, and family diversity, as well as for disability and functional diversity, along with tools for the prevention and peaceful resolution of conflicts; a diversity attention plan that responds to the different capacities, rhythms, learning styles, motivations, interests, and social, cultural, linguistic, and health situations of students to ensure equal opportunities; tutorial action measures that personalize the teaching-learning process and include activities to promote reading, an affective-sexual program, welcome and emotional well-being actions, decision-making, and response to disasters, in addition to coordination with families and other agents; measures to promote reading; a digital center plan that organizes objectives to boost the use of digital technology in teaching-learning processes and in the management of the center; and the rules of organization and functioning that regulate the principles, structure, and coexistence in the school. The staff of the center consists of more than twenty professionals.
