Marques De Vallejo

Marques De Vallejo is a private center in Valdemoro, in the Community of Madrid, linked to the Association for Orphans of the Civil Guard. It opened its doors in 1885 with the aim of providing education and care to the orphans of the Civil Guard, and the Daughters of Charity were responsible for this work until 2005, when the nuns left the center. Today it is a center open to all audiences whose educational project integrates respect, effort, responsibility, and help for the most disadvantaged along with critical spirit, creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurship, combining tradition and pedagogical innovation.

Its educational offer includes the second cycle of early childhood education, from 3 to 6 years; Primary Education; compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). The center has English auxiliary teachers.

Among the services and facilities of the school are the school residence, school infirmary, guidance department, cafeteria, extracurricular activities, bus routes, extended hours, and religious services. The educational community includes AMPA, commissions and working groups, and a Council of Student Helpers from Primary and Secondary. The center develops solidarity campaigns, outings, and complementary activities, as well as events and celebrations throughout the school year.
