Federico Garcia Lorca

The CEIPSO Federico García Lorca is a public center in the Community of Madrid, located in Camarma de Esteruelas, offering education in Early Childhood, Primary, and Compulsory Secondary Education. It has a school radio, Onda Lorca, in which the 4th-year Compulsory Secondary Education students participate through the elective Project in Radio. The podcast "Three Reporters Changing the World," created in this context, won the first runner-up (second place) in the VIII Gonzalo Estefanía Award for Educational Radio, organized by the COPE Foundation, in the category for Secondary Education centers. In the 2024/2025 school year, the center is developing an eTwinning project in third grade of Primary, a finalist for the Hipócrene Award for Education in Europe and submitted for the National Seal.

The center participates in the School Code 4.0 Program, promoted by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training within the framework of the Digitalization and Digital Competences Plan of the Educational System. This program includes two actions: providing the center with programming software resources and educational robotics hardware, and training and supporting the teaching staff. The center also has its own Digital Plan. Additionally, in the Secondary building, on the ground floor, there is a physical and anonymous mailbox for the Regional Plan against Drugs of the Community of Madrid.
