Nuestra Señora De La Consolación

Nuestra Señora de la Consolación is a private educational center located in Tortosa that offers Llar d'Infants, Early Childhood Education, Primary, Compulsory Secondary Education, and Vocational Training. The Compulsory Secondary Education stage covers ages 12 to 16, aiming to prepare students for further studies or to enter the workforce.

The center provides services such as a cafeteria, reception classroom, supervision, library, extracurricular activities, uniform sales, and book sales. In terms of languages, it works with Catalan, Spanish, English, and German, and is defined as a preparatory center for official Cambridge exams, with English hours complemented by preparation for these exams and oral English. The school hours from Monday to Friday are from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 3 PM to 6 PM for Llar d'Infants; from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 3 PM to 5 PM for Early Childhood and Primary, and from 8 AM to 3 PM for Secondary and Vocational Training.

In Secondary, it applies an active methodology that places students at the center of their learning, with contextualization of content, stimulation of creativity, work from multiple intelligences, reinforcement of social skills, and advocacy for inclusion and values such as respect, cooperation, and acceptance. The center has a stable teaching team that accompanies students from the beginning to the end of Compulsory Secondary Education, with tutoring for students and families, coordination between Primary and Secondary, individualized academic and professional guidance, and a specific weekly hour of guidance in 4th year of ESO. It includes 30 minutes daily of reading and writing, cooperative learning, projects, and cultural outings, as well as the participation of 3rd year ESO students in a community service project through agreements with local associations. The training is complemented by elective and supplementary subjects, participation in external competitions, volunteering days, and coexistence activities linked to the Consolation charism.
