Escola Remolins

Escola Remolins is a public educational center in Tortosa, located in the Remolins neighborhood, offering Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. The working languages of the center are Spanish and Catalan.

The center has an Educational Project (PEC), a Digital Strategy, and its own sports project. It has a social educator and a Socioeducational Attention Service, as well as a SIEI. It also has a School Council and publishes its documentation.

Regarding activities, the school celebrates Mother Language Day with games and sung rhymes in the students' mother languages. The I3 students participated in an environmental education workshop titled "Volem tornar al bosc," organized by the Parc Natural dels Ports. As part of the SIEI project, students prepared breakfasts for the teachers, planning, organizing, counting money, and going shopping. The winter party was held in the school lobby due to bad weather and lack of large spaces. The 6th-grade students participated in the A Cel Obert festival by painting a door under the title "Connexions." The I5, 1st, and 2nd-grade children go once a week to the Win sports complex for the activity "Anem a la piscina," walking there. The center held a graduation party for the 6th-grade students in the schoolyard and a farewell party for the I5 students, prepared by the middle cycle students with a healthy breakfast. All students went to the cinema in Roquetes to watch two movies. The center's project for the year was "Tortosa, la nostra gent," where each cycle worked on a theme related to influential people from the city and their professions, such as gastronomy, literature, music, dance, and sports. On the occasion of World Physical Activity Day, the school organized a cross-country event in which all students participated.
