Abad Y Harija

CEIP Abad y Harija is a public school for early childhood and primary education located in Torrejón de la Calzada, in the Community of Madrid. It offers the second cycle of early childhood education for students aged three to six years, and the primary stage from first to sixth grade. The six early childhood classrooms are spacious, well-lit, have their own playground, and are equipped with digital whiteboards, while the primary section has two classrooms per grade, totaling twelve, also equipped with digital whiteboards.

The center has been developing a bilingual project since 2013: the areas of Natural, Social, Arts, and English are taught exclusively in English. Upon completing primary education, students can obtain the official Cambridge certification. Additionally, the school is a preferred center for students with high abilities and carries out its own sports activity project, participating in various initiatives from the Community of Madrid aimed at promoting sports.

Among the services, it has a cafeteria and breakfast service, as well as extracurricular activities in the afternoon. The center traditionally holds a solidarity race in which students, families, and teachers participate, and the proceeds go to Save the Children. It also has an AMPA.
