Ohana

Ohana is a private early childhood education center in Torrejón de Ardoz. Its project is based on respectful and positive upbringing and the idea that children are the protagonists of their own learning, with enriching spaces and freedom to make decisions within a framework of respect for others. The school aims to create a family-like and close environment where children feel safe and heard, growing in an atmosphere of security and trust. Among its methodological references are Montessori and Emmi Pikler, and the proposal is complemented with stimulation activities and workshops. The project was initiated by its founder, Sara Parsons Sanchez, who developed her teaching work for fifteen years in international schools in Switzerland and Cologne (Germany), the last as co-director.

The center provides education for the first cycle of early childhood (0-3) and the second cycle of early childhood (3-6), with Spanish and English among its languages. It offers a cafeteria with homemade food, school transport, and extracurricular activities, and has the support of professionals in physiotherapy, psychology, and medicine. Enrollment is open for the 2024/2025 school year, and its hours extend from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
