Leon Felipe

IES León Felipe is a public educational center in Torrejón de Ardoz, in the Community of Madrid. It offers Compulsory Secondary Education and Vocational Training at basic, intermediate, and higher levels. Teaching is conducted in Spanish, with English among its languages, and the center provides a cafeteria service.

The center has been selected as a STEM center, linking its activities with the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. It has a virtual classroom for the development of teaching activities and uses the ROBLE Familias platform for communication with families. It develops the 4ºESO+empresa program, and its Vocational Training teachings are co-financed by the European Social Fund. Additionally, it participates in the Regional Drug Plan and has a complaint mailbox set up for this purpose, and takes part in the Accede Program for the return of textbooks.

Among its own projects is the CarpinTEA project, which after two years of work was in its final phases. The center received a visit from Fide Mirón, president of the Spanish Porphyria Association, who offered students a talk to raise awareness of this disease and advocate for the value of research.
