Institut Escola Marta Mata

Institut Escola Marta Mata is a public school in Torelló that provides early childhood, primary, and secondary education. The school organizes its students into communities —Petits, Mitjans, Grans, and Joves— and presents itself with the motto "Creixem junts".

Its educational project has the main purpose of providing children and young people with tools to grow in dignity, developing life skills and being protagonists of their own learning. In this approach, adults act as companions and guides: their task is to offer strategies and proposals in spaces prepared and suitable for making this possible. The school is understood as a learning community in which it wants all its members to participate in the project. Likewise, it advocates experiential learning that takes into account the development and pace of each student, with respectful and affectionate support aimed at their overall development.
