CEIP CONCEPCIÓN RODRÍGUEZ ARTILES

CEIP Concepción Rodríguez Artiles is a public center for early childhood and primary education located in the municipality of Tías. Its educational offer includes the stages of Early Childhood and Primary, with specific information for students aged 2 years, and it provides a school cafeteria service, as well as early and late care, and school uniform.

Throughout the school year, the center develops complementary and extracurricular activities and works on various educational projects, including PROA+, school gardens, the InnovAS Network, the Equality Plan, and Service Learning, within which the initiative "We learn by being useful" is promoted. It also carries out the Viera Project, aimed at learning through reading, and participates in proposals such as the enclave classroom Olympics. The center is also defined as a participatory center included in the environment.

Among its activities are workshops aimed at families, such as the Newton workshop and the "Educate in Family" program, as well as the creation of podcasts and celebrations such as Carnival or International Women's Day. It has an AMPA and a School Council, and periodically publishes announcements, schedules, curricular and school materials, and informative notes for families.
