C.P. Las Anejas

CEIP Las Anejas is a public center for Early Childhood and Primary Education with three classes per year, located in the San León neighborhood of Teruel. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (3-6 years) and Primary Education.

The center has participated in the British Council program since the 1996/97 school year and since the 2018/19 school year is a BRIT-Aragón Model center for the development of linguistic competence. French is introduced as a second foreign language in 5th and 6th grade within the bilingual program.

It has a morning service and a cafeteria with its own kitchen. It also offers extracurricular activities for all ages.

The center participates in institutional programs such as BRIT-Aragón, Erasmus+ KA1 on the school garden, School Times, Read Together, Digital Center Plan, Textbook Bank for 3rd to 6th grade, Corresponsables Plan, Road Safety Education, Director Plan, Antarctic campaign, Experience Network, HIPATIA program, CEMA, a tree for Europe, and Jacardi. The teaching staff develops projects such as the Center Sports Project, active and inclusive recesses, Science Fair, school radio, Feel the Music, Student Helper, and a schoolyard project.

The center received the first prize in the novice category at the V School and Sport Awards of the 2018/19 school year for the Sports Project 'Play, Enjoy and Learn'. In the 2019/20 school year, it was awarded the Magister de Honor Award for the Center Sports Project.
