Lumen

Escola Lumen is a private center located in Terrassa that offers early childhood education stages, including first cycle early childhood education (0-3 years), second cycle early childhood education (3-6 years), and primary education (6-12 years). In the 0-3 stage, the center indicates that it follows the guidelines provided by pediatricians to families and adapts to the physiological needs of the children. In the 3 to 6 years stage, it supports students in building the foundations for their emotional, social, and intellectual development, and in primary education, it works on aspects that shape children's personalities, emphasizing the acquisition of learning and skills, especially in the competence of learning to learn in English, with the aim of preparing them for subsequent educational stages. The center offers personalized attention and strategies to develop social skills, work and study habits, and artistic abilities.

Lumen's educational project is structured around several pedagogical axes: a unique learning environment, multilingual education, STEAM education, coeducation, and sustainable education. The methodology integrates innovation projects into the curriculum, which is based on research and learning situations. The center works in areas such as coeducation, reading, health, English, sustainability, and science. Lumen has European accreditation as an ERASMUS center, which supports its Internationalization Plan for student and teacher mobility activities in Europe. Additionally, it develops the "Escola de Família" project, an educational action shared between families and the educational community, and manages school communication through the educational platform CLICKEDU, in a private and secure environment.

Regarding languages, the center works with English and Catalan. Among its services, it offers a cafeteria, school transport, early morning service, extended hours, extracurricular activities, a psycho-pedagogical office, and nursing. Its facilities include a swimming pool, library, sports hall, football field, athletics track, laboratory, computer room, auditorium, school garden, chapel, gymnasium, playground, and children's park. The center has indoor and outdoor spaces with large green areas, natural light in all classrooms, and easy parking, in a well-connected location with the city.
