L'heura

L'Heura is a private educational center in Terrassa dedicated to the comprehensive education of individuals with special educational needs. Its offerings are organized into two sections: compulsory education, which includes Primary and Secondary education, and vocational training, which includes the Transition to Adult Life Program (PTVA) and the Training and Insertion Programs (PFI), the latter for ages 16 to 20. The center also has the Binomis department, which provides insertion services, support, and job follow-up, as well as managing internships for PFI students. In Primary, it serves ages 6 to 12; in Secondary, the first cycle covers ages 12 to 14 and the second from 14 to 16.

The center was founded in 1976 by L'Heura del Vallès SCCL, a non-profit entity with a social initiative, and has been a private foundation since 2004. Its general objective is to teach and support individuals with functional diversity to facilitate, improve, and enhance their development and the autonomy necessary to achieve social inclusion. To this end, it has a multidisciplinary team composed of teachers, speech therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and educators. The center's work is oriented towards the social and labor inclusion of students, stimulating learning in social and professional aspects that favor their incorporation into the labor market.
