Institut De Terrassa

Institut De Terrassa is a public educational center located in Terrassa that offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), with the Batxibac modality, as well as vocational training (FP). Within vocational training, it offers intermediate and higher-level training cycles, basic training cycles, and training and insertion programs (PFI). The languages present at the center are Spanish, Catalan, and English.

The center has a secretariat and general information service for management tasks such as pre-enrollment, registration, validations, scholarships, and other procedures, as well as a job bank aimed at vocational training students and advisory and recognition spaces. It also has its own facilities and offers extracurricular activities.

Among the projects and activities developed by the center, a school radio with podcasts and the publication Daily Boogle, dedicated to the culture and news of the institute, stand out. Students also participate in workshops and various proposals, such as building a pond at the center to promote biodiversity, creating a solar fan in 1st ESO, prehistory workshops, a tunnel of terror, and mathematical problem-solving contests. The center also produces short films made and starred in by its students.
