Tic-Tac

La Salle Tic-Tac is a private educational center in Tarragona, part of the Xarxa d'Escoles de La Salle Catalunya, with 50 years of history in the city. It offers first cycle Early Childhood Education (0-3 years), subsidized by the Generalitat de Catalunya, and second cycle (3-6 years), concerted. It serves children from 1 to 5 years old. The close relationship and daily communication with families are characteristics of the center.

The educational project of the center, initiated by Saint John Baptist de La Salle, aims for the integral formation of the students. In the first cycle, sensory stimulation, psychomotricity, language, and emotional management are worked on, with an adaptation period that adjusts to each family. In the second cycle, the Nou Context d'Aprenentatge (NCA) is applied, a competency-based and experiential methodology organized into five moments: welcome, project, level environment, inter-level environment, and closure. Cooperative work, observation, and experimentation are encouraged so that students are protagonists of their learning. Catalan is the vehicular language and is complemented by a daily English session starting from EI3.

The center offers morning reception service from 7:30 to 9:00, a cafeteria with food cooked at La Salle Tarragona and transported in isothermal transport, with attention to allergies and intolerances, and a weekly swimming session for students from EI3 to EI5 at the Complex Poliesportiu Viding St Jordi. The school hours are from 9:00 to 12:30 and from 15:00 to 17:30, with flexibility in the first cycle (EI1 and EI2). The cafeteria service can be contracted monthly or for occasional days. After completing Early Childhood Education, students can continue to Primary Education at La Salle Tarragona. The relationship with the environment is also favored through visits to the library, the theater, participation in the carnival parade, and knowledge of the city and its traditions.
