Institut Francesc Vidal I Barraquer

Institut Francesc Vidal i Barraquer is a public educational center in Tarragona that offers compulsory secondary education (ESO), Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), and vocational training (FP), both at the intermediate and higher levels. Its vocational training offerings are organized into the families of Administration and Management, Commerce and Marketing, Computer Science and Communications, and Community Services. Teaching is conducted in Spanish and Catalan.

The center has an Information and Guidance Point (PIO) and has its own strategic documents, including the Educational Project of the Center, the Management Project, the Rules of Organization and Operation, the Annual General Programming, and the curricular projects for Bachillerato and Vocational Training Cycles. It also has an orientation protocol, a coexistence project, a center training plan, a digital strategy for the center, and a quality and continuous improvement policy.

It is a training center and hosts master's degree students in education. It maintains international mobility programs and participates in practical training in work centers (FCT), dual vocational training, and its job placement service, with collaborating companies and a catalog of services.
