Escola Pau Delclòs

Escola Pau Delclòs is a public school in Tarragona that offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. It has a school cafeteria and an AFA (Parents' Association). Its motto is 'Cultivant talent, sembrant futur' (Cultivating talent, sowing the future).

The center develops projects that connect different areas. In mathematics, it works with the PCMat program, with research and logic proposals linked to space and programming. In robotics, the students in the initial cycle use the Tale-bot. Music and theater are also present, with theatrical performances about legends of Tarragona and musicals that combine theater in Catalan with songs in English. The learning of English is reinforced with conversation assistants and workshops, and with interdisciplinary projects that address topics such as Santa Tecla, the women of Tarragona, and the history of Tarraco. Sixth-grade students participate in a simulation of the European Parliament.

The school has renovated its facade with an artistic intervention full of color and creativity. Throughout the year, activities are also carried out, such as those for World Environment Day, with games made from recycled materials, or sessions on civil protection and how to act in the face of different risks. In Early Childhood Education, attention and visual memory are worked on through board games.
