Escola Marcel·lí Domingo

Escola Marcel·lí Domingo is a public center for early childhood and primary education in Tarragona. It offers Early Childhood Education, with first and second cycles, and Primary Education, and its motto is 'Live Together, Cooperate, and Learn'. The center has a school cafeteria, library, and a parent association (AFA), and has its own digital strategy with access to online educational resources.

In Early Childhood Education, learning environments are carried out on Tuesdays and Thursdays, where children can choose, explore, and learn autonomously. The center also develops projects and activities such as mentoring between students (mentors and mentees), experiments on buoyancy in fifth grade, a middle cycle project around growing lettuce and healthy eating, and class work on legends, fables, and mysteries of Tarragona. The school celebrates the School Day of Non-violence and Peace (DENIP) with activities such as creating a collective mural, and organizes educational outings, some of which have transportation subsidized by IMET, such as the visit to the Parliament of Catalonia by upper cycle students. It also holds open days for families and carnival and end-of-year activities.
