About the school

The EOI de Tarazona is an Official Language School owned by the Government of Aragón. It offers courses in German, French, and English, both in the official face-to-face teaching mode and in the free teaching mode. Its curriculum, according to RD 1041/2017, ranges from 1st Basic level (A1) and 2nd Basic level (A2) to Intermediate level B1, the first and second courses of Intermediate level B2 (B2.1 and B2.2), and the first and second courses of Advanced level C1 (C1.1 and C1.2); the latter two courses are only offered in French and English. The courses are classified into certification (A2, B1, B2, and C1) and non-certification (A1, B2.1, and C1.1).

Classes last for two hours and fifteen minutes, two days a week, totaling four and a half hours per week. Obtaining certificates for each level requires passing a specific test common to all centers in Aragón where these teachings are offered, referencing the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, with certificates for basic level A2, intermediate B1, intermediate B2, and advanced C1. The center publishes the schedules for each course and the exam calendars for the extraordinary call for English, French, and German, differentiating written tests from oral ones. During the 2025-2026 academic year, it does not offer the semi-presential modality.

For new students, it establishes an admission process that includes mandatory online pre-registration, registration for a voluntary classification test, a lottery, and the publication of vacancies, allocation, and online enrollment, with waiting lists and residual vacancies. Additionally, the school participates in the Friends Schools project and the Erasmus+ program.
