Llar D'infants El Petit Estel

La Llar d'Infants El Petit Estel is a publicly owned educational center located in Súria. It provides early childhood education, with the first cycle (0-3 years) and the second cycle (3-6 years), and uses Catalan as the language of the center. It has a dining service.

In its educational proposal, symbolic play plays a prominent role: through the imitation of everyday actions, children develop creative thinking and learn to resolve conflicts, tensions, and feelings, in addition to getting to know themselves and their social environment. Activities are also carried out to experiment with elements of nature, such as the colors and materials of autumn, and outings to the environment to buy typical seasonal fruits.

Families participate by providing materials for activities, such as pumpkins for the autumn corner. At the beginning of the school year, a welcome party is organized for the children and families, after a few initial weeks dedicated to establishing trust bonds. The center has a contingency plan developed according to the regulations of the Department of Education.
