El Pilar

El Pilar is a semi-private educational center in Soto del Real, owned by the Salesians and of Catholic character. Its educational action is oriented towards the integral development of the person, and its mission is based on evangelical principles, with an explicit and diversified pastoral action, comprehensive training in a spirit of family, and an attitude of searching, meeting, welcoming, and dialogue. The center identifies itself with the motto "Reason, Religion, and Love" and articulates its proposal around the areas of home, playground, school, and church.

Regarding the educational offer, the center provides Early Childhood Education, in the first and second cycles, and Primary Education, with Spanish and English as working languages, and presents itself as a bilingual center. It has a cafeteria and extracurricular activities, and also offers vocational training, including Administration and Finance and TSEAS, whose students celebrate graduation upon completing their studies. The center also presents students for the PAU.

Alongside the school, the Salesian work integrates a youth center, a non-profit Christian association that continues the work initiated by Don Bosco and offers a safe and educational meeting space where children and young people coexist, learn, and grow in faith through games, workshops, groups, and activities. Completing the ensemble is the parish of La Inmaculada Concepción, located on the remains of an ancient church of which the bell tower from the 15th century is preserved. The center also offers the rental of its spaces.
