CEIP San Jacinto is a multilingual public school located in the Triana neighborhood of Sevilla, offering Early Childhood and Primary Education. It organizes its teaching in a single line up to 2nd grade and in double lines from 3rd to 6th grade. The school occupies a historic building: in 1822, the need to create municipal schools in the city was already proposed, and the old Convent of San Jacinto was designated for educational use, with works directed by municipal architect Balbino Marrón, completed in July 1852.
Among its service offerings, all integrated into the Opening Plan, are the morning classroom, midday classroom, school cafeteria, and extracurricular activities, some managed by external companies. Among the extracurricular activities, handball is mentioned. The center has AMPA Altozano and develops programs funded with European funds, such as curricular support for students with specific educational support needs in the field of therapeutic pedagogy and educational support services provided by technical social integration personnel.
Among its plans and projects are the Opening Plan, the Aldea Project, the Gender Equality Plan framed in coeducation, the +Deporte program for sports schools, the Self-Protection Plan, and STEAM 4.0. The center maintains social networks and information channels to inform families about its activities and publishes documentation related to enrollment and school menus.
