About the school

EESS Mª Auxiliadora Nervión is a semi-private educational center located in the Nervión district of Sevilla. It offers early childhood education, primary education, compulsory secondary education, Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), and vocational training (FP). Instruction is provided in Spanish, with English and French included as languages at different stages and teaching teams.

The center has educational mediation as a strategic project aimed at promoting this tool in all educational stages for the prevention and resolution of conflicts and the promotion of non-violence. Its functions include energizing the Coexistence Plan, channeling initiatives to improve coexistence, respect, and tolerance, promoting mediation as a conflict resolution technique, applying preventive measures, proposing initiatives to favor coexistence, and encouraging student and family participation in extracurricular activities. The center also has a Gifted Program and a Reading Club, and its teaching staff is organized into teams such as Wellbeing, Coexistence, Affective-Sexual Itinerary, Languages, Pastoral, Celebrations, Communication, Contests and Fairs, Fun Recesses, and Spaces.

The center schedules extracurricular activities and meetings at the beginning of the school year for compulsory secondary education (ESO), Bachillerato, and vocational training (FP), and celebrates festivities characteristic of its Salesian nature, such as the Pasito de María Auxiliadora and the Fiesta de la Gratitud.
