Conservatorio De Segovia

The Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Segovia is a public music education center. Its activities are organized into departments of Brass and Percussion, Woodwind, Strings, Guitar and Plucked Instruments, Piano and Accordion, Choral and Instrumental Groups, Theoretical Subjects and Singing, and Accompaniment, Organ and Complementary Piano. It also offers tutoring and an orientation service that includes mediation. The curriculum includes elementary and professional music education, with common subjects, specific to each specialty, and electives, and among its specialties, it has incorporated electric guitar and electric bass.

Access to the center requires passing the corresponding entrance exams, the specifications and results of which are published by the conservatory itself. Students can carry out procedures such as enrollment, scholarship and aid applications, validations, transcript and grade inquiries, enrollment extensions and cancellations, simultaneous specialties, re-admission, transfers, or diploma requests, among others. The center has a virtual classroom and access to CentrosNet, and develops activities such as concerts, the Music Week of the 20th and 21st centuries, and a cultural week. It also has a library and an AMPA, and promotes a parents' choir.
