Institut Escola Can Filuà

Institut Escola Can Filuà is a public center in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda that offers early childhood education (first cycle, ages 0 to 3, and second cycle, ages 3 to 6), primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), with Catalan as the language of instruction. The center has the Associació de Famílies d'Alumnes (AFA) and an Espai Migdia, as well as its own radio station, Ràdio IE Can Filuà. Its facilities include the small community playground, the medium and large community playground, and an art classroom.

The educational project is organized around a pedagogical line that includes project-based work, learning environments, literary school, and conscious evaluation with reports. The center also develops a transversal thematic axis that, in the 24-25 school year, was titled "Natura km.0", and in the following year revolves around culture, territory, and community. This axis, originated from the faculty, is proposed as a globalized project that addresses a joint theme for the entire institute-school, starting from the local environment of the students from Santa Perpètua de Mogoda and turning cultural and community manifestations into meaningful learning contexts. The center also works on aspects of coexistence and participates in the project "Patis que eduquen."
