CPFP HOTEL ESCUELA SANTA CRUZ

The Hotel Escuela Santa Cruz is one of the training centers and establishments of HECANSA (Hoteles Escuela de Canarias), located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is a privately owned center integrated into the HECANSA network of schools dedicated to training in hospitality and tourism.

Its offerings are structured around Dual Vocational Training in hospitality and tourism, in its general and intensive modalities. In the Intensive Dual Vocational Training, up to 50% of the training time is developed in the company, and apprentices receive remuneration through a training contract in alternation. The model combines theoretical teaching at the training center with experiential learning in hotel establishments and restaurants owned and operated by associated companies in the sector. The training programs cover the management and organization of food and beverage production and service in catering; the preparation and presentation of bakery, pastry, and confectionery products; the organization and management of tourist accommodation establishments; the pre-preparation, preparation, preservation, and service of culinary preparations; the management and organization of kitchen activities, from procurement to service; and a level 1 program aimed at developing key, professional, and employability skills.

The center offers general scholarships for students of Vocational Training who are pursuing regulated studies in HECANSA training centers, in face-to-face or blended mode and with full enrollment, as well as scholarships for internships abroad under the Erasmus+ program. HECANSA also has a placement agency specialized in the tourism and hospitality sectors, with a job bank and advisory services, and offers specialization courses to update knowledge and professional techniques.
