Escola El Tallat - ZER Riu Corb

Escola El Tallat is a public center located in Sant Martí de Riucorb and integrated into the Rural School Zone (ZER) Riu Corb. This ZER groups four rural schools: Escola Pere Teixiné, in Belianes; the Escola El Tallat itself, in Sant Martí de Riucorb; Escola Montalbà, in Preixana, and Escola Maldanell, in Maldà. The center offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Compulsory Secondary Education.

The students of El Tallat participate in the joint activities organized by the ZER throughout the year, such as the annual meeting of all students and teachers from the four schools, the English Day dedicated to learning English through activities and workshops, or shared creative projects. The center is also part of the environmental committee of the ZER, which produces the Ecobutlletí with the awareness-raising actions carried out, and has a Magazine that collects articles and photographs of the activities. Among the outings and experiences organized are camps and visits to rural environments.
