Escola Vinya Del Sastret

Escola Vinya del Sastret is a public center in Sant Esteve Sesrovires that offers Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. The center provides both cycles of Early Childhood and the Primary stage, with Catalan and Spanish as working languages, and includes services such as a school cafeteria and a parent-teacher association (AFA).

Its educational project is organized around four pillars: discovering what the world can offer, the desire to go far and enjoy school, learning from experiences within the center, and caring for the educational community. Within this framework, activities are developed such as symmetry work in Early Childhood through manipulative and creative proposals, robotics and computational thinking in Primary, experimentation days like Science Day, and the shared reading project "Llegim Junts," which includes outdoor reading sessions in the forest with the participation of mentors and mentees.

The center also has a school radio (School Radio) where students create announcements that are broadcast in English and Catalan on alternate days, and that have recently been recorded in podcast format. Additionally, it implements a responsible digitalization plan aimed at ensuring that students acquire digital competence and make appropriate, ethical, healthy, and responsible use of devices, and incorporates a digital strategy for the center. The school organizes open house days during school hours to introduce its educational project and spaces to families.
